Why Lady Driven?

The term "Lady Driven" was used for this business for two reasons:

Firstly, the term Lady Driven has always been used to describe a vehicle  that was 'driven by a lady', therefore implying that it was gently used, not overused, and not used in a risky or harsh way that would cause unnecessary damage.  We'd like to think similarly about the clothing we choose.  We will only select items that were gently used, gently washed, and still in good condition.  We also have items that were either worn once, or not at all. 

Secondly, women are the drivers of this business.  By selling, consigning, donating, and buying items, women are the conduits of this process. Without you, there would be no opportunity for this sort of exchange. 

So, come on in.  Grab a cup of coffee and take a look through our store, knowing that this project was made for women, by women.
